MARCELINE JOANNA TURNER'S STORY "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" II Timothy 4:7 A TIME TO BE BORN… Marceline Joanna Turner was affectionately known as Marcy, Mom, Grandmom, Mother Marcy, and Love. The first born to the late Carlotta Mae Harper and William Edward Gordon, Sr. on May 12, 1942 with a bonus father, James P. Harper who also preceded her in death. A TIME TO GROW… Marcy was born in New York City and grew up in Philadelphia and educated in the Philadelphia School System where she graduated from John Bartram High School. A TIME FOR FAMILY… Marcy met and married the late Arthur Turner (Nippy). From that union was born two children, Kevin and Kimberly. Marcy enjoyed cooking with love and entertaining her family and friends. Macey was the "Go-to Person" whenever one was in need and always willing to help. MARCY loved working!!! She had various jobs as a professional meat wrapper. Her last place of employment was ShopRite Grocery Store. She was a dedicated employee who was well respected and loved by her colleagues. MARCY was predeceased by her husband Arthur, her son, Kevin, three sisters, Gerry, Amenda and Sandra; three brothers, William, Nicholas and Robin. She will always be remembered by her loving devoted daughter Kimberly, a dedicated son-in law Darrell Finney, two grandchildren Karon and Kayla; brothers James, Jr. ( Deborah), Marcel, and Tony; daughter in-law Donna; two sisters in-law Stella Gordon and Jacqueline Harris, host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and those who loved her deeply.
