Although we never met in person, I always felt like I knew you. Not only from Sharon's stories, but because you were always so upbeat and friendly whenever you happened to be around while her & I were gabbing away on the phone, which was quite often. She loved you like crazy & was always sharing stories about you, especially the warm, fatherly relationship you had with the girls and how much you & Noodles were like two peas in a pod. The last memory I have of you was just recently when I called to wish my girl a happy birthday, but it was actually yours. The two of you were having the time of your lives living it up like rock stars in Vegas with your nephew. RIP Carl, gentle fighter & thank you for loving & caring for my Shar Shar, treating her like the Queen she is! My deepest, heartfelt sympathies to the family. RIP Carl, gentle fighter.
