Larry was educated in the Montgomery County school system , graduating from Wissahickon High School in 1968. He was always active in sports participating in football , track and wrestling achieving many accolades and being recognized with multiple awards. Throughout his life Larry explored many different career paths from DJing ,working at the Philadelphia Airport, being a cross country truck driver and finally settling on starting his own landscaping business. He was a well known member of Corinthian Baptist Church and could often be seen strolling down the street the bible in one hand cane in the other. Larry was always the life of the party. No matter where he went someone was bound to know him. In the neighborhood he was known as the "Mayor" he knew everyone and everything. When you saw his red truck you knew he was not far from it either socializing with friends or grooming someone's lawn. And lets not forget how dedicated Larry was to his favorite sports team the Philadelphia Eagles. You could always catch him wearing some kind of Eagles gear even having the opportunity of attending an Eagles game with his good friend Derrick. One of the things Larry was most proud of was his grandchildren. He was always telling someone how bad they were but he loved them dearly.
